Content creators have to avoid copyrighted music like the plague, especially on YouTube, if they want to earn some revenue. Fortunately, there is plenty of royalty-free music out there and Pretzel can help you find it. This simple player gives you access to countless free tunes, which you can use in your live streams, without having to worry about the possibility of violating any copyright-related rules.

The software comes in free and premium versions and it can be used on any modern Windows platforms. It has a small setup package and its components can be installed quickly, without making any complicated configurations. The hardware requirements are modest and there is no need to install any special drivers or codecs.

When launched, Pretzel will start playing music immediately. You can use a set of basic playback controls, on its compact user interface, to pause and resume, jump to the next track and change the volume. Additionally, you can bring up a few useful filtering options, in the lower part of the window, if you want to play YouTube-friendly music, instrumental only and mature-oriented tracks.

The application lets you browse through various music collections, with different genres. Besides Pretzel's main library, you can access various collections, with music that's more happy, laid back, mixed, electronic and so on. Although you can't sift through a list of songs, you can search for specific tracks and create one or more playlists.

Pretzel can be used together with Twitch, YouTube and other services. Instead of creating a new account, when you run the application for the first time, you can simply sign in with an existing Twitch or Google account. What's more, the application comes with some options designed specifically for these services. For example, you can switch to private mode or announce the current track in chat.

Playing music with Pretzel is a sure way to avoid copyright strikes or demonetized videos, which is all that a content creator wants.

Pros

The application gives you access to countless royalty-free audio tracks. It lets you explore various categories and you can also create playlists. It has a compact user interface and its controls are easy to master.

Cons

The playback controls are bit limited. There is no Back button and you can't jump to a specific spot in a track's timeline.
